The Divine Heart of Hanuman – A Tale of Ultimate Devotion
Long ago, in the glorious days of Lord Rama’s reign, the kingdom of Ayodhya was filled with joy and devotion. One day, in the royal court, a gathering of sages, ministers, and devotees had assembled to praise the virtues of Lord Rama and his beloved brother Lakshmana. The air was thick with devotion and stories of bravery and love.
Among them stood Hanuman – the ever-faithful servant of Lord Rama. His eyes glowed with unwavering loyalty, and his heart overflowed with pure devotion. Hanuman was known not just for his incredible strength but for his unshakable faith and love for Rama and Sita.
That day, sage Narada, ever curious and mischievous, looked at Hanuman and asked, “Hanuman, they say your devotion for Rama and Sita is unparalleled. But how can you prove to us that Lord Rama and Devi Sita truly reside within your heart?”
Hanuman smiled gently, his eyes shimmering with divine love. “My lord, it is no boast. Lord Rama and Devi Sita are indeed within me. I see them, feel them, and live for them in every breath.”
Narada’s eyes sparkled. “Then show us, Hanuman! Let the world see the depth of your devotion!”
In that moment, the court fell silent. All eyes turned to Hanuman. The air itself seemed to hold its breath.
With calm determination, Hanuman pressed his mighty hands against his chest. His fingers dug deep into his flesh, and with a sudden, fierce pull, he tore open his own chest. Blood flowed, but Hanuman did not flinch. Instead, he held his chest apart for all to see.
To the astonishment of everyone present, in the middle of his chest, amidst his beating heart, there shone the divine figures of Lord Rama and Devi Sita. Radiant and serene, they smiled gently, bathed in a golden light. The entire court was enveloped in a sense of wonder and divine energy.
Tears welled up in the eyes of those who watched. The musicians fell silent, the air seemed to shimmer, and even the mighty Hanuman was lost in bliss.
Seeing this, Lord Rama himself came forward, moved by Hanuman’s devotion. He placed his hand on Hanuman’s shoulder and gently spoke, “Beloved Hanuman, your love is beyond words. May your heart always be filled with our presence, and may your devotion inspire the world for all eternity.”
Hanuman bowed deeply, his eyes full of love and humility. As he closed his chest, his wound miraculously healed – a sign of the divine grace of Rama and Sita.
From that day on, this moment became a symbol of the boundless love and devotion Hanuman had for his Lord and Lady – a devotion so powerful that even his own body was but a vessel for his unwavering faith.
This story of Hanuman teaches us that true devotion knows no bounds – it is pure, selfless, and shines from the very heart. May we all learn from Hanuman’s example to love with every beat of our hearts.
