By accessing or using ReaderNook or any of its tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Purpose of ReaderNook

ReaderNook is a learning and creativity platform offering:

Educational content (math, science, English, activities, etc.)
Kids’ stories and reading material
Creative tools such as the online coloring app
Utility tools such as the CleanPix background remover

ReaderNook content is primarily designed for families, parents, teachers, and students, but may be used by anyone in accordance with these Terms.

4. Educational content & stories

ReaderNook aims to provide accurate and helpful educational content and stories, but:

Content may sometimes contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
Educational material is for general learning and should not be treated as professional academic, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Parents, guardians, and teachers are encouraged to review content and supervise children’s use of ReaderNook.

5. Creative & utility tools (e.g., coloring app, CleanPix)

Tools provided under ReaderNook, such as the coloring app and CleanPix background remover, are intended for general use and creativity. Some tools may have additional specific terms or privacy details. In case of conflict, those tool-specific terms apply.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

You have the rights to upload any images or content used with our tools.
Your use of generated output (for example, edited images) complies with applicable laws and third-party rights.

6. Purchases, credits & paid features

ReaderNook may offer paid features, credits (for tools like CleanPix), and digital products (such as coloring books or downloads). By making a purchase, you agree to the pricing and terms displayed at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed securely by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe); their terms may also apply.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, all purchases are non-refundable once delivered or credits are used/allocated.
We may change pricing or packages over time, but such changes will not retroactively affect completed purchases.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 ReaderNook content

The ReaderNook platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and code, is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content or platform, except as explicitly permitted by us.

7.2 Your content

You retain any rights you have to the content you upload or create using ReaderNook tools (for example, stories you write, images you upload, or coloring activities). By using our tools, you grant us a limited licence to process your content as needed to operate the service (for example, to display it to you, store it temporarily, or generate processed outputs).

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not infringe on the rights of others.

8. Third-party links & services

ReaderNook may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (for example, payment gateways, analytics, or advertising). We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

ReaderNook and its tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

Merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Availability, reliability, or accuracy of the platform

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReaderNook and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the platform or tools.

In any case, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the platform or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us for use of the platform or relevant tools in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or a reasonable equivalent where no payment was made.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReaderNook and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

Your use of the platform or tools
Your violation of these Terms
Your infringement of any third-party rights

12. Changes to the platform

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of ReaderNook or its tools at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of ReaderNook after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your applicable jurisdiction (for example, the province or state and country where the service is operated or where you reside), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
