The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs who lived with their mother. One day, she decided it was time for them to make their way in the world. She advised them to build strong houses to protect themselves from the Big Bad Wolf who roamed the forest.

The first little pig, lazy and eager to play, built his house out of straw. It was light and easy to stack, and soon he was done.

The second little pig, who was somewhat lazy but a bit more cautious, built his house out of sticks. It was more stable than straw, but still didn't take long to complete.

The third little pig, the most diligent and thoughtful of the three, decided to build his house out of bricks. Though it took much more time and effort, he knew it would be strong and safe.

Soon after, the Big Bad Wolf came along. He saw the first little pig's straw house and knocked on the door.

"Little pig, little pig, let me in!" he called.

"Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!" the pig replied.

"Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!" snarled the wolf. And with a great gust of breath, the wolf blew the straw house down. The first little pig ran to his brother's stick house for safety.

The wolf followed and knocked on the door of the stick house.

"Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!" he demanded.

"Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!" the pigs replied.

"Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!" roared the wolf. The wolf blew down the stick house with ease, and the two little pigs ran to the third brother's brick house.

The wolf, now very hungry and very angry, followed them to the brick house. He knocked on the door.

"Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!" he shouted.

"Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!" they all replied.

"Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!" growled the wolf. The wolf huffed and puffed with all his might, but the brick house stood firm. No matter how hard he blew, the wolf could not blow the house down.

Furious, the wolf decided to climb down the chimney to get inside.

But the clever third little pig had anticipated this. He set a pot of boiling water in the fireplace. When the wolf came down the chimney, he fell straight into the boiling pot, yelping in pain. The wolf ran out of the house and was never seen again.

The three little pigs lived happily ever after, safe and sound in the sturdy brick house. They had learned the importance of hard work and determination, and they were never bothered by the Big Bad Wolf again.
