The Crow and the Snake

Once upon a time, in a dense forest, a crow and its mate lived on a big tree. They were happy and eagerly awaited the arrival of their little ones, as the mother crow had laid eggs in their nest.

But, danger lurked nearby! A wicked snake lived in a burrow at the base of the tree.

Whenever the crows laid eggs, the snake would climb up and eat them, leaving the poor crows heartbroken.

Time and again, the snake devoured their eggs, and the crows felt helpless and miserable. They couldn't fight the snake directly, for it was powerful and dangerous.

One day, the mother crow said, ‘We must outsmart the snake! We cannot fight it, but we can trick it!’

The father crow came up with a brilliant plan. ‘We will trick the snake into leaving this place forever!’

The clever crow flew to the king’s palace, where royal ornaments and jewelry were kept near a pool. Seeing no one around, the crow swooped down and picked up a shiny golden necklace.

The soldiers saw the crow steal the necklace and immediately ran after it!

But the crow was fast and flew straight to its tree, dropping the necklace into the snake’s burrow.

The soldiers arrived, searching for the necklace. As they looked inside the burrow, they saw the snake curled around it! Without a second thought, they attacked the snake and took the necklace back.

The snake was driven away, never to return! The crows were overjoyed, knowing that their eggs would now be safe.

The crows had defeated the dangerous snake, not with strength, but with intelligence! And so, they lived happily ever after.

The moral of the story is: Wisdom and clever thinking can overcome even the greatest dangers!
