The Fox and the Goat

One sunny day, a curious fox fell into a deep well. He tried his best to climb out but couldn't.

Soon after, a thirsty goat came to the well and saw the fox. The goat asked the fox if the water was good.

The fox, hiding his problem, said, "Oh yes! It's the best water I've ever tasted!"

The fox invited the goat to come down and try the water himself. Thinking only of his thirst, the goat jumped into the well.

After taking a drink, the goat realized they were both stuck. The fox then suggested a plan, "If you put your front feet on the wall and lower your head, I can climb up your back and jump out. Then I can help you out too!"

The goat agreed and helped the fox climb up and out of the well.

But once the fox was out, he ran away quickly. The goat called after him, asking why he didn't help as promised. The fox turned and said, "Silly goat! You should have thought about how to get out before jumping in!"
